Some milestones of my professional career
A brief summary of what I have been doing these years.
She also had the opportunity to be selected as an active student from Mariella Devia in a very intensive course in Coruña Spain recently.
Paulina has been selected as an active student for various masterclass, including: Fiorenza Cedollins, Eleonora Buratto, Celso Albelo, Verónica Villaroel.
Paulina´s path is distinguishable by her numerous concerts produced by herself in her own city (Morelia) and in Madrid, always looking for inclusive spaces where opera can be shared and spread, this objective is always in her mind so she can contribute into creating new audiences for Opera, because she believes everyone can fall in love with Opera.
2019 was a very productive year for the soprano who was prized with the second place in "Vissi d´arte" Competition in Prague Check Republic, Vladimir Chernov was the chairman of the jury, also the same year Paulina was selected to take part of the Bavarian Opera Studio. That´s when she made her mind to move to live in Madrid to continue her studies achieving (2021) the Master´s Degree in Art, Literature, and Culture with specialty in Music in the Autonomous University of Madrid, also planning to keep on competitions and auditions.
However, during this phase (2020) she had to endure the Covid restrictions isolated from her family and friends, resisting the loneliness and despair, she finished her Master`s and waited patiently until life got back to normal in Madrid.
She continued studying her repertoire hoping to get the opportunities where she could share her advances. Finally little by little she could return to organize concerts, and participating in courses and competitions. Her process in México (2016-2018) was full of activity around the country including courses and international festivals with, Miguel Salmón del Real, Enrique Patrón de Rueda, Mario Rodríguez Taboada, etc. Mtro Mario Rodríguez who conducted OCUM Orchestra gave her first opportunity to debut with Orchestra part of her repertoire in a couple of concerts as a soloist where also she received a recognition form the Principal of UMSNH University, also during this time she received the magazine politic prize for young merit in music, along another political celebrities she was the only one woman who received recognition in that event.
She also developed an interesting choir path since 2012, until 2022 where she was part of Oratorio “Piedras Vivas”, (premiere), in the Burgos Cathedral, with the Mancha Philharmonic Orchestra, Francisco Antonio Moya as the Conductor, and part also of the Mozart´s Requiem with the Real Conservatoire Choir and Orchestra. (Madrid).
